Worked great. Still a lot of work and was very sore after finishing my boat but the results were worth it. Only downside to the machine was maybe the location of the power button because i accidentally powered off a few times while polishing. Pads worked great as well.
This polisher will make your job look like a professional buffed your vehicle. I was very pleased with the results I got from using this polisher. I recently purchased a 2014 Acura TL(dark charcoal with a fine metal flake)that badly needed some paint polishing to remove bad water stains in the clear coat. I used turtle wax scratch and renew to buff it out. The polisher did an amazing job leaving a mirror like finish with no swirl marks. The included pads are great and easily cleaned soaking in oxyclean to reuse again.
The machine itself seems to work well and is a better quality than a harbor freight equivalent but not as good as my old torq buffer. The foam pads cut well. I used a 3 step compound so one for each pad. I’m giving it 4 and not 5 stars because I rinsed the foam pads off with warm water and let them dry overnight (like I’ve done with every pad I’ve ever owned) the Velcro back fell of at the pads obviously making them useless at that point. Not sure how long they would’ve lasted without wetting them but my advice is clean them without water.
Great polisher works perfect perfectly
Works great!. saved me $800.00 over a professional job. variable speed is important and with six speed settings it's all you will need for a home job with professional results.
I used this buffer to recondition the top on my Piano Black Lacquer Rel Subwoofer that had gotten some scratches on top. The buffer worked well in removing all the scratches. My only complaint with it was the locking mechanism on the trigger was hard to set. Also the cutting pads supplied are not very good and I had to invest in a better one to finish the job.
I really like the polisher. Good quality for the money. It is nice and sturdy and does a fine job .
This polisher is an absolute game changer for detailing. The dual-action motion makes it easy to use, even for beginners, while still delivering a smooth, professional-looking finish. It helps reduce swirl marks and leaves the surface looking clean and polished without much effort. The build quality feels solid and well-made, and the grip is comfortable to hold during longer sessions. The variable speed settings are a big plus, giving you full control depending on the job—whether you’re applying wax, polishing, or correcting paint. It runs smoothly without excessive vibration, which makes it easier to handle and more precise. It’s also powerful enough to get the job done efficiently without feeling too aggressive.Overall, this is a great tool for anyone looking to step up their car detailing. Reliable, easy to use, and delivers great results every time.
A quality tool at a fair cost.I tried it quickly on a small area on my vehicle with Mequires polish, this will be a great addition in achieving a showroom finish.Lot of included pads. A little loud but I wear hearing protection when using any power tool. (You should too) can’t get your hearing back once it’s gone or compromised.Quick shipping on a good looking buffer/polisher.
I was a car detailer 25 odd years ago, and this took me right back to those old days. It's not what I'd call a "professional tool" but if you just need to polish a couple motorcycles or your own car, it'll definitely get the job done with more than satisfactory results. The pads that come with it are meh, but you can get better ones cheap enough just about anywhere.
great quality, works exactly as advertised. velcro pad and the included foam cutting sponges are good quality for the price
The product looks good. Operates well. The owner's booklet makes Ikea instructions look like the Magna Carta.Option 2 was interesting, since there were no other options, or similar instructions. Poor English to explain the concepts. Included pads were listed as sold separately, so an upgrade. Pads are explained in the product description so note that when you order. The machine, seems like it will do the job for the occasional home user,
I’m absolutely thrilled with this car buffer/polisher! After using it on my car, I can honestly say it’s been a game changer for getting a professional-grade shine right in my own garage. The buffer is easy to use, and the power is perfect for polishing out minor scratches and swirls in the paint. The ergonomic handle makes it comfortable to hold during extended use, and the variable speed settings allow for precise control based on the task at hand. I was able to buff out a few imperfections on my car’s surface with minimal effort, and the results were amazing — the paint looks so much shinier and smooth. The machine feels solid and well-built, and the included pads are high quality, making the whole process very efficient. It also didn’t generate much vibration, so I didn’t experience any discomfort while using it. This buffer has definitely saved me money on professional detailing, and I’m excited to use it on my other vehicles as well.Highly recommend this car buffer/polisher to anyone looking for a great, affordable way to enhance their car’s appearance. Definitely worth the investment!
I recently purchased this car buffer from Amazon, and after using it for a few weeks, I’m quite impressed with its performance. Here’s a breakdown of my experience:Performance & Motor Power: The motor is powerful, as advertised. It delivers a consistent, strong performance, making it easy to buff out imperfections and polish my car. The speed settings allow for good control, whether you're dealing with a light polish or a more intense buffing job. I’ve used it on both my car’s paint and my motorcycle, and it hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down.Attachments: The buffer comes with a variety of attachments, which is a huge plus. From different foam pads for polishing to wool pads for heavy-duty buffing, there's an attachment for every task. The switching process between pads is quick and easy, and the different sizes ensure that I can tackle both large and smaller, more detailed areas without difficulty.Ease of Use: The ergonomic design is comfortable to hold, even during long sessions. The buffer is relatively lightweight for its power, which reduces hand fatigue. The cord length is generous, but I do wish it were cordless for more mobility—though, with the motor strength, I can overlook that small inconvenience.Build Quality: The build feels solid, and I like that the unit doesn’t feel cheap. The materials used in both the buffer and the attachments appear durable and made to last.Value for Money: For the price, it’s a great deal. Considering the attachments and the powerful motor, I feel like I got excellent value. However, I did knock off one star because I would have preferred a bit more padding on the handle for added comfort. Conclusion: If you're looking for a car buffer that delivers strong, consistent results and comes with everything you need to get the job done, this is a solid choice. It’s versatile, powerful, and makes detailing easier. I would recommend it to both beginners and more experienced users who want an affordable, reliable tool for keeping their car looking pristine.
